Syllabus for Math 347, Fundamental Mathematics, Section X2, Fall 2007
 

• MWF  noon, 152 Henry

We will try to cover Chapters 1-4, 6-8, 10, 13-15, 18.

• Homework: Homework problems are to be assigned once a week. They are due on Friday of the following week. No late homework will be accepted.

  You should expect to spend a lot of hours on the homework.

• Grade: The formula for the course grade is roughly as follows:
• final exam = 30 %
• 2 midterms at 20 % each = 40%

  dates of midterms: September 26 and November 14

• quizzes, homework, class participation etc = 30%
There will be NO CURVE
